Latest ramblings of happenings! LOL

This is Joy and the rock wall... Ben asked me to buy him a tractor at Sears last time we were there. LOL

Let's see, I got the LG Cherry Chocolate phone... LOVE IT! :D

So this past Saturday morning at 7:30am... when I was so comfortably sleeping in... I hear all of a sudden... MOM! TUESDAY THE 4TH OF OCTOBER RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER COMES OUT! Can you say, WHO CARES, when you are trying to sleep in for once? LOL! Poor kids!

JOY:
Joy's birthday is in a couple of weeks. She gets to have it at the ice rink. She can't wait for hockey to start! In the next week or so we will see practices start up.

Joy has kept her room clean for 2 weeks now! WOW!

When we went to the Evergreen state fair Joy got to climb the climbing wall... She scaled it in about a minute! She had a hard time starting down at first, but did a great job!

She is doing much better in reading now and has found a new interest... Dragons! I am really proud of her!
BEN:
Who remembers the old Wonder Woman series with Linda Carter???
I introduced the kids to the show thanks to Netflix today... ROFLMAO!!!!
Ben's first comment after watching where she first shows up as Wonder Woman, top of his voice mind you.... "MOM!!! I HAVE A CRUSH ON WONDER WOMAN!" I remember watching it as a little kid, never thinking how women's lib and sexist this show was!

Ben has kept his room CLEAN for a month now! His reward you ask??? Rodney! Rodney is a rat, named after Rodney from Flushed Away! Ben drew this adorable picture of Rodney in his cage and even drew the bars on the cage. Then proceeded to draw little poops, brown of course! He said, "My brain told me poop is brown, so I colored it brown!"

I had to ask his first grade teacher for a list of spelling words to occupy him while Joy does her third grade spelling words... catch this... he tells her when she spells her words wrong! Even worse, he tries to do her math for her! I don't think the teachers really believe me about him, that kid is something else! He reads ahead of most 1st graders and already puts inflection in his voice when he reads.
I'm going to see if I can sneak off to bed! Night! :D
